The buckle snaps shut so fast my wiggly terrier barely notices it's on, which is a nice change from the old collar we fought with every morning. The nylon still looks new after two months of muddy walks, and it doesn't rub against his fur at all.
My lab mix has sensitive skin and this collar hasn't rubbed her neck raw like the last two did. The classic buckle style is easy to clip on when she's squirming, and it sits flat instead of twisting around.
The buckle snaps shut with a really solid click, and my dog hasn't tried to scratch at it once on our walks. It sits flat against his neck instead of digging in like his old one did.
