My 70 lb pit mix used to drag me down the block, but clipping the leash to the front ring has almost completely stopped the lunging. The straps feel sturdy enough to handle his pulling without digging into his chest, and he actually seems comfortable wearing it.

The dual D-rings on both sides give me good control when my lab tries to lunge at squirrels, and the front clip actually stopped most of the pulling after a couple weeks. My only gripe is the padding is a bit stiff right out of the box, though it softened up after a few walks.

The harness does cut down on pulling somewhat, but my dog still lunges when he spots another dog. The two D-rings are handy for clipping the leash, though the front one makes the straps twist a bit. It's decent for the price, just not the magic fix I was hoping for.
